The VTM Point of Load current multiplier is a proprietary ZCS/ZVS Sine Amplitude Converter™ (SAC™) that operates from a 26 to 55 Vdc primary bus to deliver an isolated output. For applications with demanding current and voltage requirements, the VTM provides the capability to transform V and I at high ratios down to fractional voltages very efficiently.
The VTM power train is a low Q, high frequency oscillator with common mode symmetry for low noise operation. The operating frequency is tuned to the natural power train frequency which optimizes efficiency and minimizes output impedance. All required capacitance is embedded in the input and the output stages of the module and is typically sufficient for full functionality.
