The VI-HAM module is a full-wave rectifier with a proprietary high frequency zero-current switching (ZCS) boost converter providing up to 675 watts of power in a package measuring only 2.4" x 4.6" x 0.5".

The combination of the High Boost VI-HAM-CL and our V375, VI-26x or VI-J6x DC-DC converters provides the power train for a high density, switching power supply meeting EN61000-3-2 requirements for harmonic current content with a power factor better than 0.99. The user need only add Vicor's 30205 line filter and hold-up capacitance.
